At KnowledgeWorker we use various tools from the Google toolbox to create and structure files, doing online meetings and keeping track of appointments. We do not use Word, PowerPoint, Excel or any other programs for text and data, only the online program package from Google.
We use Drive for organizing and sharing documents and files. Your Drive is divided into your own, personal drive and a shared drive. The personal drive is for you to have the possibility for organizing your own work and sharing only the files you want others to have access to.
Our shared drive is for all of KnowledgeWorker to have access to common files regarding our cooperative foundation, our branding strategy, projects etc.

Everybody in the company uses Google Calendar for work related appointments. You have a personal calendar, which you can choose to share with your co-workers. Through the calendar we keep track of meetings inside and outside the house. It is also through our calendar system that you invite co-workers and collaborators to meetings, workshops and master classes. It is important that you update your calendar regularly for the rest of the team to know when you will be at the office, if you are going to occupy the meeting room and if you are attending invitations.
We got a separate event calendar which you can access through our intranet. You can add the event calendar to your own calendar by clicking the blue plus sign in the lower right corner of the calendar on the intranet. The events in the event calendar have to be posted in the Monday board ‘KW - Event Calendar - 2022’ before they appear in the Google calendar.
Slides is used for all the presentations we do inside and outside of the house - from internal workshops to sales pitches. We operate with three varieties of templates for presentations which you can find in the Monday board ‘KW Digital Asset Management’.
Docs is used for everything written, including reports, projects, sales etc. All your textwork related to KnowledgeWorker should be done in Docs due to data security.
Sheets is a substitute for Excel. Same goes for Sheets as for docs; all your work processing data should be done in sheets.
Meet is our platform for online meetings, both internal and external. You make an invite to an online meeting through your calendar. You can also set up an online meeting directly through your Google account.
