Frederik Petersen
Senior Business Developer

Frederik is one of the seven co-founders of KnowledgeWorker, and one of the most active today as managing partner of the company. 

The creation of the company in 2012 was, for Frederik, the chance to take responsibility for his own professional life, as well as the professional life of the many other laid off academics during the financial crisis. By founding KnowledgeWorker and thereby creating an alternative work-life to the precarious work-life, Frederik eyed the opportunity to make meaningful changes in a world on the brink of ecological and social catastrophe.  

For Frederik, KnowledgeWorker is the place to be; where the knowledge worker can dream and ambitions and potential come true. A working community driven by curiosity, courage, responsibility and endeavor based on solid know-how and professionalism. Louise Pierrel Mikkelsen
Senior Sustainability Consultant 

Louise has been member of KnowledgeWorker since November 2021, and joined since she is convinced that cooperatives are the best way to deploy highly educated individuals, working with their core expertise toward solutions to future challenges.

Louise has the last ten years mainly worked with commercialization of advanced scientific research, as a consultant contracted by the EU or employed in deep tech start-ups. At KnowledgeWorker she focuses on strategic planning and implementation of development projects, offers Master Classes in Geopolitics, EU funding, ESG, IPR-strategy, Ownership & Governance metrics, Sustainable impact.

Being an experienced professional, Lousie has a strong network and a toolbox of various skills and knowledge within business, philosophy, economics and doing LinkedIn the right way.

Anna Zol
Junior Sustainability Consultant

Anna started as a student intern in 2019. She joined KnowledgeWorker with the mission to work professionally with sustainable change. 

Anna’s main task is to provide expertise in the re-invention of KnowledgeWorker’s identity. This includes helping to establish internal goals and other managerial tasks. This has provided Anna with a great expertise about cooperatives and the cooperative movement. Besides working at KnowledgeWorker, Anna is studying Sustainable Design at Aalborg University, where she continuously gains knowledge about design, sustainability and project management. 

A strong ethical compass leaves you in no doubt about Anna’s values and opinions.

Daniel Schultz Nielsen
Senior Project Manager 

Daniel joined KnowledgeWorker while finishing his Master's, because he found the company to be an interesting place to work, and a fun way to ease into professional life. 

In the beginning, Daniel was working on strange and small projects. Later on, he got hooked on Scrum and agile project management, which was his way into Frame, where he has spent many hours in the department for product-development. 

Daniel was Chief Visionary Officer in KnowledgeWorker for a couple of years. His goal was to create structure in the internal organization and make a clear description for what KnowledgeWorker is, including our values, principles and competences. 

Today, Daniel is working as an Agile Coach at Koncern IT in Copenhagen Municipality, where he is servant-leading a department of 70+ IT professionals into more agile ways of working, while facilitating all Scrum and SAFe events.

Even though Daniel has moved on to new challenges at the moment, few things make as much sense to him as the cooperative way of structuring and owning companies.

Tormod Olsen
Senior Geopolitics and Coop Innovation Consultant

Tormod was one of the first to join KnowledgeWorker in 2012 with the objective to develop start-up projects and by that, fulfill his creative and entrepreneurial spirit. 

Since then, Tormod has been working on various collaborative projects, like @remoulade-brazil (Cph foods) or Love.coop, where he mainly gained expertise in import/export of goods, business innovation and cooperative skills within sustainable challenges. 

Being a part of KnowledgeWorker, Tormod has grown fond of the cooperative business model and values, which has influenced his political work as a political consultant for Enhedslisten. 

Tormod loves a good debate, and is always ready to talk about worldwide and communitary challenges.

Jakob Egelund Finkelstein
Communications Officer

Jakob joined the company as a newly graduated cand.comm. He wanted practical experience within his field, and saw KnowledgeWorker’s potential for him to take ownership of his professional life. 

Being a natural do’er, Jakob has been a part of establishing KnowledgeWorker and especially the communications department. He enjoys the educational diversity of the team, and has taken part in several successful projects.

Jakob has used the company as a springboard for promoting his career, but he is still very engaged in KnowledgeWorker and the KnowledgeWorker community.

Mads Rahbek Hougaard
Chief Graphic Designer

Mads is an experienced graphic designer and art director. He joined KnowledgeWorker because he was tired of the advertising industry and big agencies, and was longing for the possibility to unfold his professionalism and craft within a more flexible framework. 

Mads has created the foundation for the visual identity at KnowledgeWorker including our infamous KW-logo. Besides that, he has contributed to several projects and thrives within the interdisciplinary nature of the company. Mads has also used the company as a sales channel for his own projects and is continually using the network of KnowledgeWorker as an inspiration in his professional life.

Even though Mads is not currently engaged in any projects, he enjoys the social aspect of KnowledgeWorker and joins many of the cooperative events.

August Juul Albertsen
Junior Communication Consultant

August joined KnowledgeWorker as a student intern in 2021. He wanted to get some hands-on knowledge within his field, communication. Furthermore, August found that KnowledgeWorker is a company that matches his values of creating social and environmental sustainable change. 

August revived KnowledgeWorker’s communication sector. He has developed a strategy for our social media channels by structuring and creating communication campaigns and content.

While studying his Master's Degree in Media and Communication at RUC, August is currently a hang-around in the office working on his own personal projects related to his disability, Cerebral Palsy, inclusion, and social sustainability, with the aim of mixing academic knowledge and lived knowledge.

Erik was seeking a work life with a greater amount of flexibility and was intrigued by the community, interdisciplinarity and cooperative foundation of KnowledgeWorker. He saw the opportunity to do exciting projects with interesting people.

Erik is a creative soul and is always jongeling several projects at a time. Coming from a background as both a programmer and journalist, Erik has a broad field of interest. 

At the moment Erik has retired to his lemon farm in Cuba, living his best life surrounded by ideologically like-minded people.

Nikolaj Schledermann
Senior Design Engineer

Nikolaj is one of the co-founders of KnowledgeWorker, motivated by the idea of creating a collaborative workspace powered by a democratic mindset.

For years, he has been using his expertise in Engineering Design and Innovation from his Master degree within collaborative projects. He believes that the co-ownership and interdisciplinarity of KnowledgeWorker creates an environment where everyone can use their skills to provide more efficient solutions.

Nikolaj has been working as a project manager in the consumer electronics industry. Strong from his various expertises he became a partner advisor within KnowledgeWorker’ projects.

Senior Sustainability Scientist & Senior Consultant

Casper joined KnowledgeWorker as a member in 2020, with the desire to share his ambition and expertise in projects within sustainable change. Casper has a wide interest in this subject and wants to have a meaningful and positive impact on our planet and inhabitants.

Casper comes from a scientific background, therefore all his work is founded in data and facts. He has formerly worked as scientific editor at Gyldendal, and as a independent sustainability/educational consultant, and is an expert in communicating hardcore data in an relatable way. Besides that, Casper has grown a large expertise in the EU Sustainability Legislation and is able to spot sustainable bullshit from miles away. 

Having a curious mind, Casper continually find new knowledge and he will happily share it.
